Organic Farmers Market: Value Addition Meeting, SRED Campus at Kallaru

The meeting was attended by Mr. Karthik and Nivetha from the Tamil Nadu Organic Agriculture Association, along with organic farmers Sathyapani, Poongodi, Sukumar, Prabhakaran, Jyoti, and Bhuvendran. Also present were representatives from the Social Education Foundation Mr. Joseph Raj and the SRED Director Dr. Burner Fatima.

Regarding the pledge taken by the organic farmers,

The organic farmers pledged to come together, strengthen their livelihoods, ensure access to permanent food, oppose pesticide use, and protect the soil and the community. They also discussed creating value by making and selling snacks from organically grown grains.
