One Billion Rising

SRED, TNWF, TNDWM joined Global Action with other women groups campaigning of One Billion Rising. Conducted a conference calling Dalit woman challenging structural violence. Dalit Women from neighboring districts of Tamil Nadu participated in the conference, spoke against caste discrimination caste and gender-based violence and exclusion. After the conference resolutions were made which will be lobbying with MPs and MLAs. This conference took place bringing 96 Dalit women. Pledged to Strengthening Feminist Movement in Tamil Nadu.
